Workplace investigations are among some of the most difficult tasks that a Human Resources professional is expected to undertake.  Regardless of the environment of the workplace the likelihood of having an incident that requires an investigation is high.  In certain instances, an investigation may be legally required.  With this may come the chance of litigation should the investigation be found to be mismanaged.

RMG has developed a comprehensive training program that addresses legal and policy issues.  It provides participants with the base knowledge of how to properly conduct an investigation and to know when to call for professional help.  Our instructors are seasoned investigators that bring a wealth of knowledge and real-life experience into the program.  This 12-hour program provides instruction on:

  • Legal requirements,
  • Evidence collection and preservation
  • Interview methodology
  • Balance of probabilities vs. burden of proof
  • 11 steps in a complete investigation
  • Report writing
